Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on “New Property”.
Step 3: Select to either add Single family property or Multi-family property.
Step 4: Input the mandatory fields for property information.
Step 5: Click on save to add the new property to the application which will be displayed in the property listing screen.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on “Import Property”.
Step 3: Click on “Download Template” to get the standard excel sheet used to import bulk properties.
Step 4: Open the downloaded excel sheet and input the property data as per the displayed column headers.
Step 5: Once the sheet is ready with the data of properties to be imported, drag and drop the sheet to the “Documents” section.
Step 6: Select the correct excel sheet name in the “sheet name” dropdown to be imported.
Step 7: Click on “validate sheet” button to validate the sheet for any errors.

Be sure to input data under as much as column headers as possible, to ensure there are no missing mandatory information for import process.

Refrain from editing column headers or rearranging the same.

Review the second sheet in the template labelled “Legends” to get an idea of the possible value options to choose from, for selected column headers.

In the current version, owner who is already existing in the system must be provided. In case property needs to be mapped to a new owner, create the new owner in people section of application and then try importing the file.

Be sure that the “region” and “portfolio” columns are filled, else properties will be assigned to default region and default portfolio.
Step 9: If the validation of imported sheet fails, click on “Click here to download the output file” link to view the errors listed in the last column of the exported sheet.
Step 10: If the import is successful, success message is displayed and import process will run on the background and user will be notified once completed.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: To filter properties based on specific values, click on the block filters on top of grid.
Step 3: To filter properties based on multifamily and single family, click on the legend icons on top of grid.
Step 4: To search for a specific property, input the matching keywords (at-least 3 characters) and click enter key, matching results will be displayed in grid.
Step 5: To search for specific set of properties, click on “advanced search” link and provide the desired search criteria in the panel that slides from right.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Filter and select properties that have region assigned as “default”.
Step 3: Click on “List actions” and select “assign region”
Step 4: On the pop-up, select the desired region in the dropdown and click assign region button.

If the desired region is not present in the assign region dropdown, create the region in configuration settings and then refresh the property listing page to view the option in the region select dropdown. Refer “how to create and region”.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Select properties that need to be activated or in-activated.
Step 3: Click on “List actions” and select “Activate property unit” or “In-activate property unit”.
Step 4: On the confirmation pop-up, click “yes”.

By default, only “active” properties will be displayed in listing.

To view the inactive properties, click on advanced search link above the listing and filter in-active properties.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Filter and select properties that need to be exported.
Step 3: Click on “List actions” and select “export to excel”.
Step 4: On the pop-up, select the desired column data that needs to be exported and click export.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on the “eye” icon to view the owner and tenant details.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on the desired property to navigate to the property detail page
Step 3: Navigate to owner sub tab and click on “click to add owner” link in owner information section.
Step 4: Choose desired owner by typing in the owner name (at-least 3 characters), input the percentage owned and contract from mandatory fields.
Step 5: Click on save to assign the property to the owner.
Step 6: In case the property is owned by more than 1 owner, then click on “add owner” and follow step 4.

If desired owner is not to be found after typing in owner name, add the owner in peoples module and then refresh the owner sub tab page to find the owner in dropdown suggestion. Refer “How to add new owner”.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on the desired property to navigate to the property detail page
Step 3: Navigate to Library sub tab and click on upload photos button.
Step 4: Drag and drop the desired photos or click to add the property photos from system.
Step 5: Select the desired photo to be made as default photo.
Step 6: Click on “set display photo”. The properties sub tab will have the display photo.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on the property in “vacant-unlisted” status to navigate to the property detail page.
Step 3: In the property sub tab, provide marketing information for the property by clicking the “edit” icon.
Step 4: Also provide the Utilities and Amenities to display enough information about property on market.

Before syncing the property to property listing sites, make sure to provide the following information:

Assign Owner (Refer: how to assign owner to property)

Add property display photo (Refer: how to add property photo and set display photo)

Mandatory marketing information.
Step 5: Edit the property details section and change the property status to “vacant listed” and click save. Property will be auto synced to property listing sites once property status is changed to “vacant listed”.

Step 1: Login to Rentmoji and navigate to Properties module.
Step 2: Click on the property in “vacant-unlisted” or “vacant-listed” status to navigate to the property detail page.
Step 3: Navigate to “tenancy” sub tab and click the “Tenant actions” button and select Move-in.
Step 4: Choose the desired type of move-in:
- A- Move-in a tenant with past status existing in the system.
- B- Move-in a fresh tenant who does not exist in the system.

Move-in a tenant with past status existing in the system
Step a: Type in the past tenant name (at-least 3 characters) and click search.
Step b: In the result cards of past tenants, select the tenant you wish to move-in.
Step c: Set the “is primary” to yes if you desire to make this tenant the primary tenant of property, else ignore this step.
Step d: Select the tenant type as either financially responsible or other occupant or other occupant minor.
Step e: Repeat the steps “a” to “d” in case to add multiple tenants and click start move-in button to proceed to next step.
Move-in a fresh tenant who does not exist in the system.
Step a: Input all mandatory tenant information and click save to proceed to next step.
Step 5: After the process of saving a tenant by either “past tenant” or “fresh tenant”, next step is to confirm the tenants that need to be moved in. Only desired tenants can be checked to move-in.
Step 6: To add additional tenants, click on the add tenant button and repeat Step 4.
Step 7: On confirming the tenants to be moved-in click “continue move-in” button to proceed to next step.
Step 8: After confirming the tenants to be moved-in, next step is to input the leasing information including the lease period, late fee and rent due generation day of each month.
Step 9: Along with the leasing information, the mandatory monthly charge (monthly rent receivable) and one-time charge (if any) needs to be recorded and click on continue move-in button.
Step 10: In the final step, the prorated amount will be automatically calculated based on the move-in date (prorated amount is the portion of rent amount that needs to be paid if tenant is scheduled to move-in any day in between a month) and can be edited.
Step 11: Any documents like the leasing agreement document can be attached in the documents section.
Step 12: The total amount receivable from the tenant upon move-in will be displayed and the lease signed date must be provided.
Step 13: Verify if all the details provided are correct and click on “convert to tenant” button. The tenant will be converted to tenant and mapped to the property and can be viewed under the tenancy tab of property details page.
